Doorway and Stone Arch in Panicale, Umbria. On the narrow streets of this charming little village there are many fascinating doorways and arches that lead to steep steps and many tiny passages, these contain houses that are built into the village walls and have the most wonderful views across the fertile valley to the Lago Trasimeno Southern shores.
