The small village of Lucignano is one of the most extraordinary examples of medieval town planning, with its elliptical concentric rings of streets, which have remained intact over the centuries. Walking through the narrow flower filled streets, between houses of stone and brick, the smell of Italian food tempts you into its many wonderful restaurants, do visit the XIII century Town Hall Museum, works of art from the Tuscan Middle Ages and Renaissance, and the magnificent Golden Tree.
